Great location in the city (free parking out the front), great atmosphere (fairy lights and chilli plants and succulents in the garden leading to the doorway), great service (kind and polite waiter), great food (selection and quality all wonderful), great value.
Disgusting toilets. So dirty. Leaking water all over the floor. Incredibly bad hygiene. Made me feel sick that I had eaten in this place. What is their kitchen like if their toilets are not clean???
I just went to this restaurant yesterday night for dinner. They marked up nearly all my dishes on the bill and each dish mark up $1 to $2. I have four dishes and 1 extra item of rice paper. Three dishes have been marked up for $5. I asked them why the prices are totally different. The wait staff made excuse that the prices on the menu that gave to us already 3 years ago. The restaurant has not changed the menu for 3 years, but only updated the prices in cashier counter. ...read more
The menu has changed from very Vietnamese to a mixture of Asian cuisines. Since we wanted Vietnamese we picked those dishes from the menu. Unfortunately the change of menu has also changed the quality. The cold rolls were dismal. Very heavy on rice noodles and very light on anything else. They were also poorly wrapped and fell apart when you tried to eat them. Normally rare beef salad comes on a papaya salad - here it came on salad leaves. It was also swimming in dressing. The BBQ quail was the best dish of the night. The fish with ginger and spring onions was fine but you can't really go wrong with those ingredients. The rice hot pot was disappointing too - lacking the taste of other hotpots and no crunchy bit on the bottom. However, the service was excellent. I guess if you want a place with a range of cuisines and you want the "safe" versions of those dishes this is the spot for you.

Love the atmosphere - it's kind of like this little oasis in the middle of the city. From the moment we walked in the door the staff could not do enough for us. Had a hard time picking from the menu but ended up settling on roll your own cold rolls and papaya salad for entrees - both were delicious. The whole fish is a must - it was cooked perfectly and the staff boned it at the table which made eating it a lot easier. The rice hot pot is another must try - we were all fighting for the crunchy bits at the bottom.
