A group of us went to Viva for a pleasant night out. Unfortunately we were let down by Viva's poor service. The service was very slow (and the restaurant was not full) and there was no hint of an apology when 2 people advised our waiter that the mussels were off and couldn't be eaten. The dishes were included in our bill and, when we questioned them, their response was 'But you ate the spaghetti part of the dish.' The food (apart from the mussels) was very average - which we wouldn't have minded if the service was better. We will not be returning.
Although i didn't know this restaurant existed, once i found it, i couldn't get enough of it. It is beautiful. The food is just exquisite and very traditional. I could not fault the food nor the service. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves real Italian Food!!
