Watermark Hotel & Spa

I had a friend stay here a couple of years back on our last trip up to Gold Coast. I'd say it seemed like a pretty decent hotel when I went up to her room before heading out. So for this trip, naturally, I booked 2 nights for my family and requested a room with 2 double beds. The room rates were relatively cheap as it was the off season for most hotels around Surfers Paradise. Upon checking in, the foyer looked huge with open space because of the tall ceilings. There was a bar & restaurant situated opposite the front desk. When we got up to our room, I was amazed at the space that we had. We had a great view of the river and surroundings although I would have preferred overlooking Surfers Paradise boulevard. I might be comparing this room to my most recent experience in a Japanese hotel room but with a toddler on this trip, the size was perfect. nice place, a bit far from the beach but for a business trip very professional and friendly service. Thank you

$200 for a studio with no balcony or car park (extra charge) non peak. Too far to walk into Surfers or Broadbeach, and is on highway and above construction.

Non smoking floor and everything smelt like smoke including towels and bedding yuk! Empty ice tray. Got upstairs with food ready to settle in for a movie and they were disabled! Rang them, was told AFTER checking in and going up to my room that if I wanted to watch movies I would need to leave another $50 with them. House keeping were so loud from 7:30am there was no sleep in. TV is tiny. Never again.

Good hotel, I stayed about a year or so ago, Walking distance to all that surfers has to offer, location is quiet being in the side street.

Fantastic. We had a package with a massage and access to club lounge. The massage was brilliant and the staff were wonderful. Would definately return. My favourite hotel in Surfers.
