Well Connected Cafe

Went in tonight for dinner with a friend, we were not greeted by the staff and found our own place to sit. We were using a Groupon that included “2 pastas or 3 share plates or 2 burgers per two people", we ordered a seafood pasta and a beef burger. About 10 minutes later I was informed that I wasn’t able to get the seafood pasta (which is not said anywhere on the Groupon site), so I changed my order to the chicken linguine. My friend's meal arrived in 5 minutes and since it is etiquette to not eat until all meals have arrived she waited for mine to arrive too, which took another 20 minutes, so her meal was cold. After that, we were not approached by staff for about 20 minutes after we finished eating to get our dessert, so we called the waitress down and asked her what our options were. Tough competition in this area but wellco's appeal is added to by it's lovely balcony area upstairs, great spot for a late brunch or afternoon snack. The menu is fairly standard for the area, not better or worse than most other cafe options nearby.

Their fries and aioli is so good, and their vegan brownie is to die for. Such a good spot in the hub of glebe, super chilled too.

This cafe is perfectly great - with some really great food. The baked eggs were to die for. However, with so many on offer around the area, it doesn't quite compare. Still a great Glebe cafe offering. Would definitely try it again soon.

We stumbled across this cafe during Boxing Day holiday and this was the one that was still open at 9pm that night. Located at the start of Glebe Point road, this place has a very old school 20s charm, feeling like you are part of some sort of a history. The only way to get away from it is to sit outside at the covered pedestrian pathway and feel the local atmosphere.

We ordered some green tea latte and it was quite nice. We also had their sticky date pudding and it was very large and is definitely shareable, and with ice cream on top. Unfortunately, they closed a bit early that night and the cold drinks were no longer available.

The service was pronto and the orders came very quickly. The staffs were still acommodating although they were really in the mood to go home. We ended up giving them extra tip.
