The best place to keep your cool, when the weather turns up the heat. If you're a local there's no excuse to not have an annual pass, for $9 per month thats not much more than the cost of a visit to your council pool. Wet n wild has water rides to test those with nerves of steel or leisurely relaxing rides, slides and pools for those needing to recuperate and refresh at will. From the wave pool, to the black hole and floating your way around Calypso Bay, Wet n Wild will leave you sundrenched and water logged. This theme park caters for all age groups, with ample room to find full sun or shade & plenty of places to eat. The wave pool will remind you of a day at the beach. If visiting the Gold coast, there is no better way to "splash your cash", cool off and have some great fun.
Will definitely take my son here when he is old enough. I've been to gold coast probably 5 times and 5 times i have been to Wet n Wild. Such an exciting water theme park . The rides are thrilling and getting splashed into a pool towards the end of each ride makes it even more fun. Sometimes the line is long on the popular rides and waiting in line on a hot day can be exhausting but if the rides that good, then its definitely worth it. I love the massive wave pool, gets crowded but thats just shows how much every loves it too. what i do suggest is pack your own lunch and plenty of drinking water as food is expensive and after going on so many rides you can get hungry fast. Many thumbs up as i will be back.
On a hot day nothing is better than scooting down to Wet n Wild for some water park fun. For locals or frequent travellers to the Coast, the VIP pass is the best value with unlimited park entry so you can go anytime you like. There is plenty of fun for the whole family with a selection of extreme slides for the adrenaline junkies including Kamikaze and Tornado, the Black Hole to add a lil fright to your sliding, family friendly like Mammoth Falls and the Junior section for the tiny tots. If you just prefer some relaxation you can grab a table on the sands of Calypso Beach and spend the day paddling on your tube around the whirlpool or wave pool. A great alternative to the beach on a hot day but very popular in school holidays (particularly the Summer break) and weekends so be prepared during the peak season to wait in lines if you pay the extra to fast track your spot in the lines.
