Witches Falls Winery

The Five Star rating isn't just given by me, but also James Halliday which is a great boast for any winery to be able to make.
This is the only working vineyard on Tamborine and the tasting was well explained and thorough.
I look away a bottle of Syrah for now, and the Prophecy to lay down for a few year.
A picturesque setting and definitely worth adding to your tour of the Mountain.

The witches falls winery is one of the best wineries that I have ever visited. We discovered this magic place completely by accident 3 years ago on a day trip to mt tambourine and we have been going back regularly ever since. The quality of their wine is fantastic and they have the awards to prove it. They are not a large commercial operation and therefore offer a very friendly and informal atmosphere. We visited recently and were given an impromptu tour of the winery and samplings of the various vintages by Jon, the owner and master vintner. He even remembered my mother in law, by name from a previous visit, and he has made a lifelong fan there as a result. The business is a family run operation with Jon, his wife and children all lending a hand. It is great seeing them all involved at the "members days" that are held a couple of times a year.
