My wife and I had enjoyed the meals hear a year ago prior to the recent 'makeover'.
Thinking it may be even better we tried a Sunday lunch this date 14th June '15.
Menu selections were a real let down ! Do we really need a bloody Pizza on a Sunday Lunch hotel menu?

I decided to help organize a birthday dinner for My girlfriend who was visiting from China and is a massive steak love. I know she had been wanting to try stone grill so I suggested this place and she was quite pleased, as were the rest of her guests, we were all pleased with the meals we ordered but the service from a wait staff throughout the whole night with us was not all that wonderful- they didn't come across as very friendly and helpful. Besides that though, we had a good night.
Was my first time having stone grill steak tonight and admit, I freaked out when I saw my order come out (rare steak!) The staff noticed my reaction and explained to me what to do and by the end of it - done and all in my belly! My partner had the pasta and I had a taste of that .. was pretty average, so to was the sticky date pudding. We felt that the food was a overpriced considering, but the service was good, staff were friendly and helpful.
