Woolworths Ltd

This is a great little Woolies.It doesn't always have everything you need but the staff definitely make up for it. They help you find what you need ithout it being too embarrassed, and they are cheery at the register. Recently they upgraded and got self-checkout counters, which are great when you don't want to wait in line for your one chocolate bar.

About 2 months ago this store had a major renovation & the front looks much newer now, and the cold food section is a lot easier to navigate. They also created about 6 self-checkout bays which are NEVER busy, can't count the number of times I've walked in and out in under 5 minutes.
Unfortunately this means sometimes staff look a little 'under-utilised' but I'm hoping they keep them all on because they are genuinely friendly and it's very helpful to have them available when I have no idea where to get the (insert products here!)
Have also regularly found incredibly priced 'near end date' meat here, saved up to $80 just on meat at times.

This is a gem of a find if you're looking for easy parking, short queues, helpful staff, and incredible clearance meat/fruit/veg etc.
Also a great place to go for sale items that are already sold out elsewhere.
Only neg is that it's not as big as ttp or others so can be hard to get very specific items.

The staff at Woolies, Modbury Heights are just delightful. I visit at least twice a week, usually after work and the predominantly young staff are always so polite and friendly and an absolute credit to the organisation. The are either very well selected or very well trained. I really appreciate their interaction at the check out. Thanks to you all.

An undiscovered woollies - which means you get the bargains you'd expect without looking for hours for parking.
Reasonably sized so good amounts of stock, and enough staff to help when you need it.
