The Olde Narrogen Inne is a short walk from the Armidale railway station, though I sort of wonder whether anybody would actually come all the way to Armidale by train just to go to this pub. However, it does feel like one of those old English style taverns, sort of like one of those places located in the part of a city where people go for a day out as opposed to actually going anyplace specific. It is quite a nice pub though, and the staff are reasonably friendly as well. However, despite its charm, its location does prove to be a bit of a hindrance.
Popped into The Narry whilst passing through, the pub is a little on the rough side, however it was a good place to have a drink. Old style pub with lots of little rooms sectioned off into dining area for the family, a public bar out the front for the lads, pleasant outdoor beer garden all round and an undercover alfresco area out the back, so there is no shortage of space to catch up for a drink with friends. Drinks are reasonably priced, pleasant service
