Absolutely beautiful setting but that's where it stops. Service was bad. The entree arrived AFTER the mains. When we complained about that and the actual entree was not up to standard we received absolutely no apology.. "'That's how it's always served here''. A jug of Coke was hugely over priced and we didn't wait for dessert. A letter was written to them describing our experience and we received nothing but silence from them. On reflection they've had the same menu for at least 8 years to our knowledge and we suspect it's commercially packed and reheated... We've never returned and tell our friends not to bother.
This place is great. We go there at least once a month. The food is always consistent in size and taste. Its well priced too. On a sunny day you can sit in the gardens and there's enough room for kids to run around and in winter you can sit by the fire. It gets exceptionally busy at times and the staff always manage to be friendly. Love it!
Went there on a recommendation with friends. They absolutely
stuffed 2 of the 5 orders up. They were not apologetic but offered us a free
round of drinks. As we are not big drinkers we didn't take up the offer. We left feeling very
disappointed Found out this place is owned by the people that own the "Last Drop"
in Nicholson Rd Canning Vale which we also found ordinary.
Would not go back again and as a Taxi driver I will be advising my passengers
to avoid... On a positive For those who got what they ordered there were no complaints about the food.. Thursday 24th Feb 2011 (booked under Williams)
Went here for a friends birthday lunch on a hot sunny day and it was beautiful. Great ambience, beautiful surroundings. Cozy little restaurant inside like little english pub and tables outside in the shady garden also. Really lovely. The menu is great. So many favourites to choose from and more. Well worth the drive.
