We Build Strong People, Strong Families, Strong Communities.YMCA Derrimut Health and Aquatic Centre is a new facility opening in Derrimut in the western suburbs of Melbourne in November 2011. The centre will provide a gym, indoor heated 25 meter swimming pool, 2 indoor sports courts and group fitness facilities including cycle classes for the community in Derrimut and surrounding suburbs including Deer Park, Ardeer and Sunshine west.

This centre is average in size. One side is the basketball courts and the other side is the pool. 1 large lap pool and 3 medium size pool used for classes. Its clean as still very new. I had sign up to put my son in for swimming classes. The good thing is if you miss a class there are make up classes so you still get your moneys worth. Membership also allows access at other times when there is no classes. Staff are helpful and if there are events coming up you will be notified at the centre or via mail. The only thing is would prefer for adults is a steam room/sauna and spa.
