Given their location closer to the Yongala than other operations, we decided to support the little guy and make the drive out of Townsville. Big mistake. They screwed up our accomodation, causing us to be stranded in the middle of the night well outside any area where we could stay at short notice. They didn't answer their phones (including the after hours number) and didn't take us very seriously when we were severely annoyed the following day. They even tried to charge us a cancellation penalty!
We decided that if they could stuff up something simple like leaving out a key then we didn't trust them to be on top of the important stuff like head counts, or even O-rings. We decided that they didn't deserve our money, and I don't think they deserve yours either.
Hey guys, sorry you had a bad day, I have stayed there quite a few times and the accommodation is fantastic, just like being at home. The staff are very helpful and friendl,y but the dive is the most exciting part! Cant believe you didnt dive! Ive never seen so much of a diverse amount of marine culture in one place......I was in awe of everything !!! This is a graveyard that is breaming with life......I would recommend this to anyone that has read the stories or has some experience diving that would like to see a little or a lot of everything depending on the day. The weather can make the trip a little rocky but once in the water.....WOW!!! Thanks guys xx AWESOME!!
