La Bonne Table
La Bonne Table is a swanky wining and dining establishment with a heavy emphasis on the wining. The dark, bricky walls, rustic décor and low lighting make for a very attractive setting, and they do a lovely vodka cocktail called ‘Around the Campfire’. It’s made from vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, Frangelico, Baileys and milk, and pretty much just tastes like a liquid, highly alcoholic s’more. Yum!
“Popped in for Friday night drinks and dinner. The first thing I need to say is that the service is excellent – we were attended to promptly all night. Secondly, the food is great. The quail was amazing. The charcuterie plate was good and we were talked into getting a serve of the chicken wings (delicious).” – 4chillis
La Boheme Bar
Question: what do you get when you mix Bols, peach vodka, cranberry juice, coconut and pineapple juice? Answer: a messy kitchen and a whole lot of explaining to do. When the masterful bartenders at La Boheme do it, however, the result is a deliciously refreshing drink known as a Peach on the Beach. Great for sipping on as you lean back and take in the Parisian style and lively cabaret vibes.
“Took my cousins here from overseas, and they very much enjoyed the cocktails and the vibe of the place, just the way as I do. I discovered something new about this place that night too – there is an outdoor area at the back of the main area and it’s a lovely quaint outdoor setting too. Really like La Boheme.” – xbabydollx
Proof
Okay, let’s try another: what’s the only thing better than a gorgeous, perfectly crafted espresso martini? Answer: a gorgeous, perfectly crafted espresso martini with an espresso martini macaron, of course! Proof is the place to find such a treat, and this laid-back little bar provides a wonderfully cosy setting in which to savour it. Or just down it and immediately order another one. Your call.
“I ordered the suckling pig which came with salads and sliders (bread buns) and was devoured in no time, cooked to perfection! My glass was never empty and the cocktails were amazing! I couldn’t recommend a place more for a fancy function or even a quick drink, love this place 5 STARS!” -ChePeBu
