One of my favourite Summer breakfast / brunch destinations in the Eastern suburbs. With prime positioning, located directly across from north Bondi beach on Campbell parade. you can enjoy the sea breeze and watching the people pass by, while listening to the waves crashing across the road. The view and the atmosphere are serene and relaxing, with an open layout and seats inside or out. The food here is also amazing for breakfast. They poach eggs perfectly, do scrumptious scrambled eggs and brilliant bacon. They also offer a great range of fresh, generous helpings of sides. The seasonal fruit platter with yoghurt and honey is a great healthy, early morning pre-beach meal. The coffee is always just right, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this cool cafe.
Aquabar sits in one of the most prized locations on Campbell Parade North Bondi Beach. It is the perfect place for a yummy weekend breakfast if you have just been for a swim at the beach, have sandy feet and would like to sit down with the paper, a coffee and some grub. If you turn up you can usually find a table quite easily whether it be inside where you get great views of the beach through the huge open windows at the front or outside on the footpath where you can involve yourself in some people watching. If you are up for indulging a little bit, they do a banana and honeycomb pancake dish with is liquid gold. For a healthier option they do have a Muesli that can come with a fruit salad. Of course, you can also go for the good old fashioned bacon and eggs too. The staff are extremely friendly and you can eat there for under $20 which will include a coffee too.
Aqua bar is the best place to catch up with friends: youre bound to run into someone you know on a weekend. Go straight from the beach, still in your cozzies with wet hair, and grab an outside table for a nicoise salad and the papers, and watch friends come and go all afternoon.
