One side of the shop is a delicatessen with a selection of cold meats and cheese varieties, plus an assorted and diverse selection of other deli items in bottles, jar and packets. Beside the cold drink cabinet there is an exhibition of striking paintings by a local artist. As you enter the Cafe, display cabinets containing a mouth water selection of cakes and desserts meet your eye, these are all baked on the premises as are the racks of fresh loaves of bread. Decorating the wall nearby is a very cute collection of antique coffee grinders, and on top of the cabinets, chocolates, nougat, sweets and cookies further tempt the eye. The choices of, salads, light dishes, Dip Platters, German sausages, melting goat cheese, baked poetry blat, open sandwiches, etc ...read more
Always popular and busy. Mix of locals and tourists combine.
Menu is an interesting mix from Thai beef salad to German Sausages with sauerkraut. Mix and match your own juice from a choice of ingredients including pineapple, watermelon, apple, lime, mint and ginger.
A mix of service depending on the day/ server - the service can vary from downright excellent, to a little condescending.
