Bev's Cafe

Very rude staff - woman with the brown bob haircut . Argued with me about the temperature of my coffee . Was Luke warm . Implied it was my fault !!! Need to consider the way in which she speaks to customers . Coffee tasted awful as well

The staff at Bev's cafe are extremely rude. They refused to provide me with a paywave receipt after taking my card. I explained to them that the receipt is necessary to prove the correct amount had been charged when the customer had not seen or been shown the pin pad. I had to check by logging onto my bank account there and then to check that the correct amount had been charged. they then became even more rude if that is possible. I advised them that the amount was correct and one of the staff snapped "of course it is" seemingly under their breath but loud enough to be heard. once our food was delivered they proceeded to clear the tables around us, all of which were dirty, with excessive banging just so that we could be certain that they were unhappy with us.

The food was at best, average. I would not recommend Bev's to anyone.

Coffee and cake was good. Unfortunately the service was terrible. The staff seemed extremely stressed. The staff member made a rude remark after I got a little confused with my order. The tables outside were not cleared and a poor staff tried to move dishes to another table and accidently broke a dish. The other staff member came out later and shook head in disgust in front of the elderly lady and her family. I cannot believe the staff were so rude. People who visit that coffee shop are usually associated with the hospital or medical centre. It would nice if the people making money from us are nice to their customers.Even a smile?

Just had breakfast here. Food was ok and came in a short time. Coffee came to me nearly cold and as weak as water. Had a sear where I could see part of the kitchen and it looks nice and clean. Not impressed with the food handling tho. Have been watching a person working in the kitchen and behind the counter handling the food with bare hands and another person doing the same. Staff has been in and out the door leading to the courtyard gathering plates, emptying the plates into the bin, scratching and adjusting their clothes, the pick up someone's bacon and egg muffin and stick it on the plate and serve it. No hand washing going on, hair waving in the breeze. Don't think I'll be back here
