Came in at 11:30 on Anzac day. There was a notifcation saying breakfast up until 12. My partner and I went to order breakfast and the "customer service" staff said we couldn't order any food until 12! We went to a cafe and were not allowed to order food- what a joke. So we were allowed to order drinks. After 15 minutes we went back up to the counter and the Bar staff said our order was 2 pages away... We walked out.Such a shame because it was the first time I had been there.
I am lactose intolerent and looking at the menu there was already limited choices for people with allergys. The foccaica seemed like a good choice but they were unable to remove a slice of cheese? I found this utterly ridiculous. They have a rule of no menu allterations, i can see that in a busy period someone making a very difficult allteration could be annoying, but removing something from the sandwich to cater for allergys? This is a case of not being able to use basic common sense and being unable to care for customer needs not to mention just being lazy. To make it worse i was told to simply remove the cheese after i recieved it, the foccacia is toasted for gods sake, talk about stupid! Try removing melted cheese from a sandwich! A friend of mine who is jewish was unable to order a burger without the slice of bacon and instead was forced to have a meal that she didnt even enjoy.
