Cafe Zuppa

Been there couple weeks ago on a weekday. No service at all, tables are of questionable cleanliness. Almost fine dining prices for low grade rough food. Avoid.

How refreshing to find a comfortable and friendly place with great food and service. Looks a bit simple from the outside but don't judge a book by the cover. Free Wifi when travelling is always great but not the only asset. A must when your in Katoomba. All day breakfast both meat lovers and vegitarian a must followed by the deluxe hot chocolate.

Great retro designed warm dining room, and friendly staff. Free scrabble & big bits of paper on the table to scribble on add character.

The food on the other hand is average and a bit overpriced.
The worst of it though is the waiting time for meals to be cooked. There was 1 other table being used when we came in & ordered. 20 minutes later, 2 measly average burgers with crunchy but fatty chips came out. What they were doing for that 20 min is a mystery to me.
On the + they do take eftpos (tho for a 50 cent surcharge) unlike several shops on the street.
Would have expected better.

Highly reccommend their smoothies and their deluxe hot chocolates

Love the atmosphere in this cafe and great music. The food is delish with big serves. Great vegetarian menu and big brekky, all for reasonable prices. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Oh and you must have one of their gorgeous hot chocolates next cool day.
