The Daning Dog has been around for a few years now and I still rate it as a great place to go for beers. It is located in the heart of the hip in the western suburb of Footscray (5km from the CBD) with pretty decent selection of craft beers. They have acoustic live music, standup comedy, etc.. Definitely a good hipster hangout in Footscray with lots of artists popping in. The coffee is also really good. Definitely check it out if you are in a curious mood and in the area.
