BOWEN is very gentle but at the same time dynamic and deep acting
It's interactive, so you can get an idea of what's going on in your body during treatment
Treatment is done over light clothing (using no oil) and consists of a series of small but precise moves (called Bowen Moves) made over different parts of the body. There are frequent but essential pauses between each series of moves - the pauses allowing your body to seek the source of the problem and start to readjust
Bowen Moves are performed over superficial and deep fascia. The fascia (which is soft tissue) envelops, separates and influences every organ and tissue in the body. It's been called the "endless web" and has a profound effect on the body's physiology and function
Bowen Therapy improves circulation and lymphatic drainage. It aids in the elimination of toxins
Anyone can receive treatment - including babies, children, pregnant women and the elderly. Treatment generally lasts for an hour, though with children only 20 to 30 minutes is required.
