I first discovered this pub as I was sitting on the train heading up to my uncle's house and I said to myself that I had to check it out. However I wasn't going to catch the V-Line train out here just to go to this pub. Fortunately I landed up with a car for a couple of days so a friend of mine came with me to check it out. I must say that I really liked the country atmosphere of this place, though unfortunate with all of the development going on that is quickly going to disappear. They have a pretty nice beer garden, and there is even an aptly named corner, which is typical of those country pubs. Personally, I hope it doesn't change because I quite liked it.
Upon arrival in the car park my daughter and i were greeted by a bus full of local footy players who stood out in the open urinating
Not one staff member said hello or welcomed us. We just found our table ourselves.
