Down South Car Repairs

I have had six cars serviced and repaired over the past 20 years at Down South Car Repairs. This includes 3 cars which were for my childrens' use and valued at the $5,000 to $10,000 range. My current car is a Ford Focus which was purchased new 9 years ago. All cars have been extensively driven and were not garaged. Patrick and his team have provided me a timely, reliable, friendly service at low cost during this time. When I pick up a car I feel confident it will work and if there still is an issue I can take it back and it will be fixed.

He tells me if there is a problem and what it will cost and the car is fixed that day. Patrick does not over service my vehicles which is an expensive problem I have had with previous big name repairers. You need to ask yourself, how do the big name repairers afford all that TV advertising ?

I've been coming to this company for many years and not once have I been let down. Every single staff member is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their job. I always find myself extremely happy with the service and how reasonable the price is. I will continue to come here and I recommend others do the same!

I have previously had my car serviced by Down South Car Repairs a few times without drama.
I went to them with the issue of my car over heating. The had the car for a full day; did some tests and supposedly 'serviced' my car but couldn't find the over heating issue. They charge my $205 for this.
Exactly 1 week later the same issue occurred. I dropped my car off to Down South Car Repairs and their conclusion was it required a new thermostat (this was at 4:30pm when I was leaving to pick up my car). They kept my car for an additional day, the charge for this was $220.
