Duncan & West Automotive Repairers

I took my daughter's car here because my friend, the previous owner, recommended Duncan & West and had religiously had them service this car. I was surprised that although they had a full history of the car I was made to feel like a stranger. When the work was done I copped a bill for $566. This was for a standard service on a Subaru Liberty plus rear brake pads. The cost of the brakes was about $ 260 with half that being labour. A sententious lecture about tyres (down to wear markers) was included. I don't know if that was costed in, but it went for a while! Definitely not welcome because I regard myself as no longer a silly child.
Apart from this car I have two others that are out of capped price with dealers. I had hoped to move my business here but will continue to get them seviced elsewhere!

Excellent service and very nice people. Communication was great tgey explained everything in detail. Definitely going back.

Duncan and West are fantastic. I had a car crisis on a work trip and needed help asap. They fitted me in, were super kind and friendly, and were ridiculously honest when it came to charging me. I will definitely get my car serviced by them next time I'm in Newcastle. I can't recommend them highly enough.
