I joined truelocal just so I could spread some love about this great cafe. It was a really great experience, like a slice of heaven out there on the deck, comfy chairs, wood and leaves everywhere, great staff.. The coffee was brilliant. I live in Brisbane but anytime I'm down that way, I'm going back. I sat out on that deck for ages reading a book, so nice. I bought some of their organic fruit as well. Perfect idea to take a tourist friend out to it, as an example of old true australia.
Eating at Heritage Cafe was nice surprise. This Tally Valley owned family cafe with it's fresh valley grown produce and lovely fresh menu certainly hit the spot. From the Valley Breakfast to the Veggie and Fish burgers, all were freshly made and served with the well known Tally Valley smile. Next time your in the area or driving past on the M1 freeway, do yourself a favour and take the 10 minute detour to get some good old fashioned local service from Jodie and John Kilburn.
Oh yeah... there pizza's on a Friday night are to die for.
