Hungry Eye

Ordered 2 flake 4 scollops and 2 potato cakes and chips tonight from hungry eye.
So bad .... wouldn't waste my lemons on it.

My first time i went to Rye, we came across Hungry Eye. They make the best souvlaki and patato cakes you will ever come across. Friendly and always with a smile. Recommend it to any one in the area.

Folks, I was raised in a fish and chip chop so please understand that when I say this is MY favourite fish and chip shop in Rye, they are really really good at what they do.

I have recently been to the Hungry Eye fish and chip shop. I must say it was absolutly great and I highly recomend it to any customer. The fish is all brought local, and the chips are cut fresh.

I feel Lady Chaos review was very innacurate. Recomended to everyone.

This was a fairly lousy fish and chip shop. Prices were higher than their competitor a few doors down and hamburger size and quality was really quite bad. The meat patties were mostly sausage meat, and there was almost no sauce even though I'd requested double. We were all disappointed. I can't say what the fish and chips would be like, they could well be good, but if you're after a good hamburger, I wouldn't recommend Hungry Eye.
