I made an appointment with LS hair elements last week I thought I’d try this new salon as my previous hair dresser closed down i walked in and was greeted by the friendliest staff. The feeling I got from the salon and the staff was wow what a place I ended up getting my highlights touched up the talented staff matched my colour perfectly I would highly recommend anyone visiting this salon a positive and professional environment.
My hair was cut and dyed. It was okay. Wasn't anything fantastic but I really do NOT like being quoted one price then paying $50 more at the end. That's terrible business and just plain trap. I should have stuck to wha I knew and went to my old hairdressers. Never again.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had as a customer. This was my first time visiting this salon, I showed the staff member several pictures of the style I was after (an undercut, though more "boyish" than most girls tend to have - ie shaved on both sides and the back, and longer on top), and explained several times that this was a style I had previously had on numerous occasions so I was completely fine with it looking "boyish".
She basically outright refused to cut my hair how I asked, stating that it was a "boys hair cut" and that it would look silly (especially nice to hear right after you've just said that its your usual hairstyle).
I compromised and allowed her to do a similar cut in an asymmetrical style, however after she completed the cut I asked her if she could shave some more ...read more
I spoke to the team member involved, and I was informed she spent quite some time consulting you.
Im sorry you felt the lack of communication,as she is a very talented ,caring hairdresser,as are all my team members.
Although in saying this,i feel you should have been offered the option of returning within the week, free of cost.
You are certainly most welcome to return if you are not happy.
To be quite honest the only reason it may have seemed as though she spent a great deal of time consulting with me is because she was so resistant to how I'd wanted my hair cut. When I asked her to trim a bit shorter she seemed incredibly irritated at me asking, and it seemed she was reluctant because it meant more work? And that manner annoyed me to be quite frank, because after all I only went with that particular hair style because she had been so reluctant to give me what she called "a boys haircut". I understand hairdressing can be seen as an art but much like an artist being commissioned to create a piece, you are essentially collaborating with the person whose hair you're working on. If they don't like something you're doing AND seeing as they are paying you for your work, I feel they are entitled to tell you and you should take that on board. (This is coming from someone who draws commissioned work for a living) Unfortunately my experience does not make ...read more
Hi I had one of the best experiences at LS Hairdresser's at the Liverpool Store I have had black hair for 39 years with many attempts to change the colour not succeeding at all. Once walking in and talking to Lyne who was a Colour Technique she knew her colours and even did a test strand so she would not waste my time or money ( not many hairdressers do that ) She did a great job with fantastic staff to help. What a great group of ladies fantastic attitudes will defiantly be going back and would recommend Lyne the Friendly Colour Technique and her great staff to any one.
Not the best place I've been to. I came in to get a simple layered trim. I'm not all too fussed about my hair but this is one of the worst cuts I've had. It was unusually quick for the staff to cut my hair and I was surprised at that. I realise now why. My hair looks like staff just grabbed it and cut straight across. I could've gone that myself with a YouTube tutorial. The ends of my hair have been looking like the edges of box for the past week. The hairdressers elsewhere do a way better job than this. They take the time to up cut the edges at least. I think this hairdresser was just trying to fit in all their clients and rushed through mine, as one walk in client asked to be slotted in and staff agreed. Not a good idea trading quantity over quality. It says a lot about a business if they can't even complete the simple jobs right. Take the time, I say, and do a good job than cutting corners, and to get more clients/profits in. If you're looking for a good salon, better look somewhere else!
