Magic Wok Chinese Restaurant

When they said my takeaway order would be ready in 10 minutes, I thought they must have made a mistake. Now to be honest it might have been 11 or 12 minutes - but who's counting? The food sure didn't taste like it was rushed in cooking though, it might have lacked a bit of flavour and serving sizes weren't huge but quality was good and we all enjoyed it. I think it's fair to say their menu is pretty much standard fare Chinese in Aussie style, but that's what we were looking for and we weren't disappointed. Price was about on par for what you'd expect too.

Don't be deceived by the outdated dcor...this is truly some of the best Chinese food that I have found. Maybe they spend their money on quality food and the cooking?

Last night's take-away appeared to have been pre-cooked and microwaved, not freshly prepared. I should have been aware that 10 minutes is a little too quick - and the meal was waiting on arrival in 8 minutes. If I had wanted fast-food I would have had a hamburger. Not good enough. I will not go there again.
