Pretty Good. Had breakfast here with others. Service was good, but it seemed to be quiet and there were numerous staff on duty.- probablty too many at the door so entry was crowded. Meals were quickly prepared and served. Meals seemed to be reasonably priced and tasty. Leake Street is tucked away from the hustle and bustle and is quite a pretty Street.

Brilliant friendly staff. Always feel welcome. Great food with enormous variety. Really reasonable prices. Indoor or outdoor seating. Definitely recommend

After hearing rave reviews, I tried Max's Corner- supposedly, one of the best cafes in Essendon. I don't think I could have been more disappointed. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming however that's where it stopped. After asking for a second bottle of water (for a table of 5 people), to which the wait staff said they'd go get one, 10-15 minutes later the bottle of water still hadn't arrived and staff was sitting in the corner of the cafe with a bowl of pasta, chatting on the phone. ...read more

If you know Essendon then you know the star amongst all the external eateries. I mean, they have great seats inside but on a warm night, eating their amazing meals outside will just blow you away. Indeed, I am famous for eating a lot, and eating one of their meals challenges even me. Great venue, no argument
