Was here again only the other day, caught up for a business meeting. They were just closing up and the fellow had politely mentioned to us he was just cleaning up but we were more than welcome to sit outside on their benches. He even bought out a glass of water and 2 glasses. Ive been here a few times now and each time the service has always been great, always busy. Theyve got such a great location for a caf at the main intersection walking distance to the strand, parks nearby, many cyclists in this area which attracts many of them also that are passing by in groups. I like the outdoor settings and large communal table they have inside. Highly recommended place for those living locally in the area. Coffees and hot chocolate were great, lovely decoration as always. This is something that I really like when having coffees, its always expected these days when youre ordering coffees to see a lovely piece of art on the froth!
Ive driven my bicycle along here; Ive walked passed here and also driven my car here. Each and every time, this caf is always busy with people inside and out regardless of the weather. On a warmer day, forget trying to get a seat, it will be jammed pack unless youre in early to reserve a place. I finally got myself around to having a coffee here on Sunday with a friend. He opted for a bagel breakfast with ham and coffee, I had a skim latte. It was beautifully presented with a leaf decoration on top. It was a bit challenging in getting a table for 2, we almost had to rush to the first sighting. The staff was very friendly, busy running around taking orders, cleaning but with a smile. People were dashing in and out ordering coffee for takeaways. My friend enjoyed his bagel, and I thought the coffee was great. Definitely a place Id like to return again for a Sunday brunch/lunch as the weather is getting warmer in Melbourne!
