I would not hesitate to recommend Property Plumbing & Gas for anyone looking for a plumber in Cockburn or surrounds. Ricky and Ben run a fantastic business, they are professional, polite, helpful and reasonably priced. They have repaired my hot water system and also replaced a spa heater for me, the team went the extra mile in sourcing second hand parts to make the job more affordable. If you want great service call these guys!!!
The plumber was called on 19.11.14, and attended on the same day to fix a leaky tap. I was charged just under $280, and 2 days later, had to call them to come back cause it was still leaking. I was advised I'd be charged an A/H rate because it was Saturday. I wasn't prepared to pay this so I told them to come back on Thursday 27.11.14. Another plumber came back & said there's no leak, it's just water falling through a small gap between the tap & the basin. They put silicon around the tap & said that would fix it. I haven't used the tap since this was done & had to call the plumber again on 1.12.14, as there was a lot of water in my cupboards, under the basin. They came out again & said that I need to change my taps & charged me $300 to do this. The matter is currently being reported to the plumbers board. I can't believe I've been through such bad service & didn't expect to be taken advantage of!
Hey Dewy1 I was the plumber who attended your property, It is unfortunate you had a negative experience.
This is a very uncommon occurrence for our customers.
In this instance, you where advised three times by myself before you had your tap replaced that it needed replacing.
You insisted you wanted the bear minimum done to see how long it would last.
Unfortunately as I explained at the time, it did not last very long and the tap needed replacing as advised in the first instance.
I have been fixing leaking taps for 12 years and completed thousands of jobs over that time, and have many happy customers as a result.
