I adopted a cat from Wacol RSPCA only 4 days ago with the understanding that all vacinations and treatments were up to date. On reading the documentation emailed to me I noticed that the cat needs updated vaccinations only a week after I collected it! I called to ask if this was an oversight and was basically told thats just tough as the RSPCA is a charity. Just BTW the cat and all the gear cost me over $700 so its fairly profitable in my opinion. I dont necessarily have a beef with the process but according to the vet I took it to, vaccinations should be fully up to date and only due again in 12 months. What made me adopt was the 14 day peace of mind guarentees that all is up to date - just read the fine print as I dont think this is really fair.
