Cosy and well appointed with lounges, tables, pool table, electronic juke box and nice long bar. Suitable venue for all ages. Decent range of beers and wines on tap at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Bar staff gave good wine recommendations. Bistro restaurant available right next door to the pub serving all the pub favourites.

Had lunch at this hotel in the bistro. I ordered a Steak Sandwich which came in half a bread roll, over cooked steak and no sauce on the sandwich. It was very dry and not worth the amount charged. My husband had a special of the day which was a burger with a 'giant patty'. He said it tasted good but the meat patty was about the same size as the patty in other's basic burger. Again, not worth the money paid.

On a positive note, the service provided by the waitress was terrific.
