Status Gearbox & Diff Engineering

You were a little quick to confirm without addressing all the potential issues but FYI the diff on our stretch limousine was never modified. (Standard engine, standard diff and all mechanical components.)

After reassuring me that the diff I was being sent was DEFINITELY the correct one (I supplied VIN numbers), I paid for it and was sent the diff which arrived promptly and all was good until I went to put the diff into my Ford Fairlane stretched limousine. It was the wrong one. I rang Status GB&DE and they told me to do different things which I am glad I did not do as if I returned it after I had done some of the things suggested I would not have been covered by warranty or return policies. LESSON 1 -Do not alter the original part.

However when I returned it at a cost of $120.00 I received my statement of refund and discovered that I had been charged a 'restocking fee' of 20%. This ...read more
