The Coffee Club
Tonight was the second time as a Coffee Club member that I was disappointed. The first time there was a special at The Coffee Clubs and we arrived at The Coffee Club in Robina just to be told that they did not partake in the special. The management should then in their advertising advise which clubs will be excluded from the specials offered. Then tonight I arrived again for the hamburger special just to be told that they have run out of hamburger buns and the special is no more available. Woolworths is 5o metres away from them, they could have bought some buns from them to keep their customers happy. But I was just told it could not be done. If a store knows they have a special running they should cater for that in advance. Very disappointed service!
Meals here tend to be slightly more expensive than most of the other cafes in the center, and unfortunately the meals are not value for money. I had eggs on toast yesterday. Could have made the eggs better myself and the bread was hardly buttered. - so very dry. Coffee was served in a hospital like plain white mug. Very disappointing. Meals have definitely deteriorated in quality and presentation over the last few months. Think I'll be going else where in the future if they don't improve.
Went here as we have a Vip card (buy one coffee get one free). It was ok but quite noisy even though the centre didn't seem it. Order came and they forgot the babycino so we had to go back up and ask for it. Where we sat the was a member of staff eating there lunch which wasn't even food from there.
Don't think I will bother going here again.
Now, ive been to a couple of different Coffee Clubs and I'm not one to write reviews but i couldnt help myself. If you are looking for a nice place to have lunch, i HIGHLY recommend you avoid dining at this one.
I Had a Beef & Bacon burger. What i got was a slice of shortcut bacon a slice of tomato, a leaf of soggy lettuce and a pre made beef patty(the ones you buy in bulk probably frozen) on a brioche bun With a side of soggy half cooked chips.
Also bought a bowls of chips for my daughter. More like a handful. Again, undercooked.
Mrs had a Salmon /Avocado stack, which she said was very average.
My other daughter had a serve of nachos, it was OK. No complaints there.
Food - 4/10
Value for money - 3/10
Would i eat there again - NO
Would i recommend it to any of my family or friends - NO
