The Grumpy Barista

The Grumpy Barista, previously of the inner west suburb of Petersham has found its way to a new location in Alexandria.
The café occupies the corner of Garden st and Henderson Road and is industriously styled with cool marble and pink interior and a hanging garden. There’s plenty of space inside and out, so I you won’t be waiting long for a table.
Serving Toby’s estate coffee and a range of modern Australian dishes for both breakfast or lunch, as well as some sweet treats, is a popular café with the locals and visitors to the area alike.

This cafe has recently reopened in the new location of Alexandria (Henderson Road). It is a beautiful space to enjoy great food, all complete with pale pink walls and Parisian furniture. There is a variety of food available for both the health conscious and those with a sweet tooth.

Recommend: The Pea Smash is well worth the try, it is made with fresh produce and is simply delicious. Smashed avocado ain't got nothing on the Pea Smash.

Very busy, very popular. Get ready to see people taking photos of their food at this cafe, presentation is good- especially the sweet stuff. Ingredients are always fresh and overall a good place to go!

Great selection of food, fresh salad and EXCELLENT coffee. Such a lovely place to go for a breakfast or a quick caffeine hit.
