The Haven Inn Sydney

Their website were misleading. After seeing the place on the net and then booking our stay, we were more than disapointed when we arrived. What you see on their web site is totally false. I don't know where they got the photos for their web site but it was not at the Haven, if they did I would like to know what happened to the reception and the dinning area next to the pool. It is one of the most run down places I have ever had the stayed at. As for the staff it was if they where just there to pass the time of day and they act dumb. Also they didnt give me any check out receipt, then when I complained to my credit card for refund because we only stayed for 1 nights instead for 3 nights, I have nothing to show as evidence because they didnt give me a check out receipt. I was appalled with the service and quality provided by this hotel.
Firstly, we arrived ready to park our car in the "undercover secure parking" this hotel advertised only to find out that there were not enough spaces in their car park. When we queried this we were told to simply park in the middle of the carpark (where 4 other cars had already been advised to park). So we were forced to leave our car key with reception, trusting a stranger not only to look after our vehicle but also drive it when it needed to be moved. Secure my butt. The website pictures were very misleading. I was expecting a lot more for the money I paid. It was cold, dirty and a bit smelly. If they were honest on the website I wouldn't have been so dissapointed. There is a nice Indian restaurant down the road though. This place is ok for a family passing through..... Not a girls night in or romantic night away!!!
