The new appointments include, 11 upmarket rooms with ensuites, Rascal's award winning Restaurant, a very well appointed lounge and cocktail bar, and a dynamic dance floor-bar.

Recently visited the Royal Hotel and took a seat at the bar with friends... and that's all we did!! Now, I am not doubting that the staff working there noticed our arrival at all and I do not understand why they would rather avoid serving paying customers, we waited for 25 minutes with no service and it is safe to say that they lost our business as we ventured further up the street to "The Empire Hotel" where the staff were only to happy to serve us. Bad management, poor service...
