Not normally a review writer but saw gizmobs review and had to write this. I am there with my husband nearly every Saturday and Sunday. I found the staff very friendly and always willing to help. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and deco.... just what Cleveland needs. I have personally recommended the Terrace Cafe to all my friends and family. Keep it up guys
Terrible food (steak) served by unprofessional staff with rude attitude. Do not waste your time or money eating in this place. Here's what we encountered;
1). They couldn't find their one and only wine-list & therefore didn't know prices; we were given two small bottles of wine (no glasses) and when I asked for glasses, the staff, informed me that she will bring us one (1) glass, as they are a cafe and not a restaurant!
2). When the food arrived, the vegetables were missing and when I questioned this, I was given dirty looks. So I let it go. Wished later, I wouldn't have...
3). The steak was practically inedible, as 1/3 of it consisted of fat and sinewy stuff. Yack! When I complained, I encountered very rude reception and remarks from the management. - No wonder there were hardly any customers!!
i was actually the one that served you and i remember you very well. Quite frankly i have never met anyone more rude and it was very difficult to serve and please you.
I disagree with this review i have had many a steak in this very friendly and professionally ran cafe . I recommend this cafe all the time
