It’s a scientific fact that 99 percent of Adelaide citizens don’t have enough bacon in their life (and that one percent is just scraping by). You can’t argue with science, so we’ve put together a list of the best places to get your bacon fix. Prepare to pig out!
Devour Cafe Patisserie
When you’re on a quest for bacon, your first stop needs to be Devour Cafe Patisserie. They do a really great maple bacon doughnut here, expertly balancing the sweet with the savoury to create a truly mouth-watering treat. It’s a wonderfully naughty breakfast, and the cafe itself is a bright and spacious setting in which to wolf it down like there’s no tomorrow.
“Seriously a great place to pick me up for a coffee and cake! Enjoyed with friends 🙂 I absolutely love the staff’s friendly approach and so welcoming. The coffee is smooth and delicious. The salted caramel cake is amazing and is so far my fav thing to eat here… ohhh maybe I really like the breakfasts too!! but seriously… who could have a favourite!! 🙂 de-vine!” – TheMiddleIngredient
Burgastronomy
Bacon and burgers go together like Forrest Gump’s peas and carrots, so it’s hardly surprising that Burgastronomy is next on our list. In particular, we’d like to draw your attention to the fabulous Hot Bacon Bird Burger. That’s chicken, bacon, salad, chipotle barbecue sauce and mayo. It ticks all the nutritional boxes, and will make you a very happy bunny indeed.
“So, I feel bad saying this but I almost didn’t want to review Burgastronomy because I was afraid too many people would start going there! I love this place. My girlfriend and I are addicted to the sweet potato fries. Nothing else seems to compare to their burgers. I had to try everything on the menu at least once.” – lilhater127
Lindes Lane
Lindes Lane is a fresh, trendy little joint known for leather couches and quirky, rustic touches, and it serves up a damn fine plate of bacon waffles. That’s right. Bacon and waffles, together at last! They come with mascarpone, banana and (of course) maple syrup, and they’re immensely moreish. Protip: wear your stretchy pants.

Mister Sunshine’s
Sandwich time! Bacon sandwiches have been a cornerstone of the human diet for centuries, and you’ll find few better than the one at Mister Sunshine’s. As well as plenty of bacon, it’s also stuffed with egg, roasted tomato, chilli jam and rocket, which makes for a delightfully hearty feast. You’ll want to order about 12, but don’t worry. Mister Sunshine’s is always a super-friendly place to grab a bite, and they won’t judge.

Bread & Bone Wood Grill
A uniquely decked-out venue (just look at the staircase portal), Bread & Bone Wood Grill also serves up some incredibly tasty food. If you think you can handle a pork overload, go for the B & B Dog. It’s a smoked bacon-wrapped Vienna sausage, complete with cheese, sauce, onion rings and kewpie – and it’s out of this world.
“OMG. This place was amazing. We stumbled upon it and were immediately in love. We had the cheeseburger add kewpie mayo and a vanilla milkshake and hot-damnnnnnnn it was delicous.” – Dayemm
