Whether you love A Kiss From A Rose, live in a Gangster’s Paradise or you can’t go past a wonderful Wonderwall, here’s where to let your inner star shine.

Brunswick Hotel

New Farm

We had to get a classic Aussie pub in here somewhere, and they don’t get much more classic or Aussie than the jolly old Brunswick. Thursday and Saturday are karaoke nights, and it’s always a good laugh. Come for the craft beer and prime wagyu beef burgers, and stay for the chance to let your inner pop star burst forth. We promise you (probably) won’t regret it.

“Awesome corner pub. Great food, great wine choice. Monday and Tuesday night trivia is a great nights entertainment. Friendly staff and Management” – Sassneece

Karaoke is all about performance, so why settle for your boring old clothes when you could put on something a little snazzier? Strike Bowling’s karaoke rooms come with a prop box full of costumes to play with, so get creative! And if you’ve just belted out an ABBA medley at top volume and need to give your pipes a rest, there’s also high-tech laser tag, a fiendish escape room, and even a bit of bowling every now and then.

Karaoke in a private room is one thing, but karaoke in front of strangers? Now that takes guts. Fortunately, by the time you’ve finished gorging on Ben’s gourmet delicacies, you’ll feel ready to tackle anything! Karaoke runs every Friday and Saturday night at this excellent restaurant, and it’s not to be missed.

“Karaoke, BYO and Chinese banquet… honestly what more could you ask for in a night out? Close (but not too close) to the city, Ben’s Vietnamese and Chinese Restaurant is guaranteed to provide the atmosphere and culinary delight that you’ve been looking for. The quality and quantity of food was great, the service was friendly and fast and the karaoke is just the maraschino cherry on top. I wish I could spend every weekend at Ben’s!” – Dayemm
