Crazy Monkey Sunshine Coast is a Martial Arts Studio catering specifically for small exclusive group work and personal one on one coaching.

We coach the Crazy Monkey Defense Program and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which are taught and implemented by police and armed forces around the globe, as well as many martial art athletes or 'fighters', so you can have confidence that you won't be learning some sort of 'fantasy' fighting art.

At CM Sunny Coast, we don't believe in trying to break you or beat you up to boost our own ego's or think that this is the way to 'toughen up'. We believe in developing skills and then progressively increasing the amount of training intensity as those skills develop and strengthen. You won't be treated like a punching bag and you don't need to be a tough guy or girl to start training.

Our current clients are everyday people who enjoy training functional martial arts training that they feel confident will protect themselves or their loved ones, but more importantly, they enjoy the physical and mental attributes that are gained through their training. These skills have the ability to not only improve you performance on the mat, but also off it.

Owner/Operator, Chris Bishop, is a Licensed Crazy Monkey Defense Program Advanced Trainer and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple belt. More importantly, Chris has studied to a Master's Degree Level in Adult education, so you are not only getting a coach with technical knowledge and ability, you know that he can deliver it to you in a way in which you will understand, process and put into action.
