Star Bar Cafe & Hotel

I'd give the Star Bar Cafe & Hotel zero rating if I had that option. Food awful and management and staff rude and unprofessional

Crap service, pizza undercooked, dessert overcooked and just underwhelming

The Star Bar Cafe Hotel, is located. Central City, Charles St, just around the corner from the main shopping precinct. Decor is open, light, bright, spacious and casual, with interesting murals on the walls. The bar area is central, to one side, comfortable lounge seating for relaxing, that looks out over a covered Al Fresco area on the pavement. The dining area flows around the bar, with comfortable dining tables and chairs, all creating a conversational vibe. Upstairs on the landing, with an opening roof, to view the stars while drinking & eating. Would be Ideal for functions. We chose to eat downstairs from an excellent varied menu; the pizza special, turkey. bacon, semi dried tomatoes, feta and basil. Extremely tasty; A Star Bar Platter, consisting of marinated olives, feta filled peppers, prosciutto, oysters, double Brie, marinated button mushrooms, dolmades, semi dried tomatoes, smoked salmon, warm chorizo, squid, house made dip with wood fired bread. Sensational, it's everything you want, especially weekends.

Great food, great atmosphere, great woodfired pizza's and huge beer and wine selection. Good prices too. Loved it.
